Seminar149 East 38th Street, New York, NY 10016HOW HENRY GEORGE GOT US THE SECRET BALLOT AND HOW WE’RE LOSING IT
Henry George had been the primary advocate of the secret ballot system which was not in place anywhere in the US before and during his 1886 election. Although never stated, there may have been irregularities in that election. What new electoral practices then came into being? Is the concept of the secret ballot in jeopardy today?
