James Cusick, PMP
James Cusick is an interdisciplinary applied researcher specializing in Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, History of Science, and Political Economy. Currently James is Senior Director IT Strategy and Operations & Distinguished Engineer with a global information services firm. Previously James held roles at Dell Professional Services, Bell Laboratories, and AT&T Labs. James was also Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University’s Department of Computer Science. His publications include over 100 papers and two recent books on Information Technology. James is a graduate of both the University of California at Santa Barbara and of Columbia University in New York City. James is a Member of the IEEE Computer Society and a certified PMP (Project Management Professional). James has served as a Board Trustee at the Henry George School of Social Sciences since 2020 where he researches topics in Innovation and Economics.
