Course: Understanding Henry George’s Political Economy

Start Date: October 26, 2026 · 6:30 PM ET · Online Register Free

Join us as we re-discover George’s political economy and discuss its potential for guiding policy towards shared and sustainable prosperity.

This 12-session intensive course will help familiarize truth-seekers with Henry George’s seminal tome Progress and Poverty. The course will highlight, explain and discuss the main points of his argument as to the systemic cause of economic insecurity, injustice, and corruption which cause repeated paroxysms of crisis, suffering, and self-destruction… And the (conceptually) simple, feasible and timely remedy to it all!

The instructor, Paul Martin is a dedicated father, farmer, writer and editor. As Director of the “Henry George International Center” in Nicaragua for a period of fifteen years, Professor Martin designed and taught a similarly intensive course on Progress and Poverty to thousands of adult Nicaraguan students; translated the full P&P text into a new Spanish language edition (pub. RSF); edited and published seven editions of an abridged version (in Spanish and then in English, as well) and recently, a “supercondensed” version (in both Spanish and English.

To make the most out of this course, students are required to purchase a copy of the supercondensed version of Progress and Poverty, available on Amazon in Kindle format.

NB: A link to join the course will be provided via email before each session.
