Will Ruddick, founder of Grassroots Economics Foundation, is a pioneer in blending traditional practices with economic innovation. Based in East Africa since 2008, he has developed programs in resource coordination, ecosystem restoration, and food and water security, empowering communities to leverage their skills and abundance. Globally, he consults on economic commons, indigenous economics and decentralized technologies to advance social well-being and sustainable development.

    Willem Buiter is an independent economic advisor, speaker, commentator and expert witness. He was Global Chief Economist at Citigroup from 2010 to 2018 and a Special Economic Advisor at Citigroup from 2018 to 2019. Previously, he was Chief Economist and Special Counselor to the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and an original member of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of England. He was the Juan T. Trippe Professor of International Economics at Yale University and has also held academic appointments at the London School of Economics, Cambridge University, the University of Bristol and Princeton University. He is the author or coauthor of 78 refereed articles in professional journals and eight books.

    George Lovegrove has a background in software development. He became actively involved in the Web3 industry in 2020 and created the Web3 Association to investigate topics including incentives, governance and economics, particularly related to cryptocurrencies. He has released a number of analytical and educational resources about treasuries, funding processes, organizations and money. One such resource is Contributionism, an economic model that is suggested as an alternative to capitalism. Recently he has been working to incorporate the ideas of Silvio Gesell and apply them to Web3 ecosystems.
