Course 5: Fundamental Economics
This course will introduce the fundamentals of political economy as taught in the Henry George tradition. It will examine the laws and mechanics of wealth creation and its distribution. It will also discuss the causes of poverty and inequality and discuss venues for reform.
Instructor: Marty Rowland
Chair of the Education Committee at the Henry George School. Marty Holds a PhD in Urban Studies/Natural Resource Economics and is a licensed professional Environmental Engineer at the NYC Department of Parks as well as a recognized expert in Infrastructure Management with ASTM organization. Marty has been teaching courses at the School since 2016.
