Henry George in the 21st Century

4th Annual Writing & Video Contests

Explore, Create, and Engage with Henry George’s Ideas

At the Henry George School of Social Science, we believe that timeless ideas deserve fresh perspectives. Our contests are designed to inspire exploration and creativity around the enduring principles championed by Henry George, whose insights remain relevant to today’s economic, social, and environmental challenges.

This year, we are thrilled to introduce a new video contest alongside our traditional writing competitions, offering even more ways to express your ideas. With four distinct contests, participants have the opportunity to showcase their creativity and critical thinking in multiple formats.

Click on each contest below for more details and join us in bringing Henry George’s vision to life in the 21st century!

We invite U.S.-based students to delve into these topics, share their unique perspectives, and ignite meaningful conversations. Whether your passion lies in economics, social justice, environmental sustainability, or simply exploring new ideas, this contest offers a platform for your voice to be heard.

We look forward to reading and watching your submissions and witnessing the diverse interpretations and reflections on Henry George’s vision in today’s world.

Good luck to all!
